It’s about Christmas which I never celebrated…everyone was having fun, but I was sleeping, always, because I never felt happy enough to celebrate something I wasn’t feeling at all. And they were always asking me ‘how do you sleep?’ it wouldn’t matter if I’d answer them because they won’t understand anyway.
The reason I released it in summer was because I felt happy that time, it felt exactly like Christmas I never celebrated. So I didn’t wait until December and I dropped it in August 2020.
I wish everyone in the world could celebrate Christmas with happiness and joy, with people they love, feeling finally loved and needy. I really wish that… because Christmas is supposed to be for dreams to come true that once seemed impossible. no one deserves to be sad and lonely, on Christmas or on any single day.
The track length is shorter than usual (1:12) and it represents how happiness usually lasts for me. everything good never lasts for long, unfortunately.
