About the artist: A Harlem native, Bugsy Grams has been expressing his love for creative arts and the genre of Hip Hop since 9 years old as the inspiration came from his uncle who was a back up dancer for Kool Moe Dee. A family friend whose connection to Bad Boy Records took notice of his talent and convinced the development of a rap group including himself and best friend Bathgate who had a major buzz at the time. Enlisting popular talent Ron Thomas, the group began to make waves locally. As the collective got older their lives would go in different directions but the love for music would never subside.
A mentor by the name of Fats with ties to legendary producer Rodney Jerkins AKA Dark Child would assist with getting one of Bugsy’s closest friends a deal with Virgin Records. With experience being around the industry for a number of years, Bugsy Grams is now ready to seize the moment and push his brand of music to the forefront.
