Just Fame has got an exclusive piece of news about the New York City-based indie rock trio Comfort Cat & Friends. They have announced their official release date for their upcoming album “Consumption.” We had a sneak peek (or should we say sneak listen?) into their tracks and were blown away by the sheer rawness of how the album sounds. The album is stunning and the trio has done an amazing job! This album will be a sheer treat for their fans.
Comfort Cat & Friends is a New York City-based indie rock trio, fronted by lead songwriter, Comfort Cat, on the “guitarlele” (i.e. a six-stringed tenor ukulele), with Jason Laney on keys/percussion, and Dan Veksler on bass/guitar. One fan described their sound as “punk-by-way-of-the-divine,” which describes the relationship between fury and spiritual longing present in their songs.
