Just Fame recently got a chance to interview Christy Sanderson in regard to her book ‘Unlocking God’s Promise’. We got insights into her book, her source of inspiration and much more!
Q1. Welcome! How are you doing?
Thank you so much for having me! I’m truly blessed and excited to be here. It’s always an honor to share my journey, my faith, and my work with new audiences. Life has been a season of growth, transformation, and stepping deeper into God’s purpose for me. There have been challenges along the way, but through it all, I’ve learned to lean on God’s promises. Right now, I’m feeling incredibly grateful for where I am and the doors that are opening. Every new opportunity reminds me of God’s faithfulness and how He continues to lead me in this journey. So, I’m doing well, and I’m excited to dive into this conversation!
Q2. Your book is now available on Amazon! Please tell our readers about your book Unlocking God’s Promise.
Absolutely! Unlocking God’s Promise is a book that was birthed out of my own faith journey and a desire to help others step into everything God has for them. It’s more than just a book, it’s a transformational guide for believers who are ready to move beyond fear, doubt, and uncertainty to fully embrace the promises of God.
In this book, I take readers through the biblical principles of faith, obedience, and trust in God. I share personal testimonies of how I’ve seen God move miraculously in my life and the lives of others. There are also practical steps to help readers identify and break through limiting beliefs that may be holding them back from walking in God’s full purpose.
One of the key messages in Unlocking God’s Promise is that God’s Word is alive and powerful. When we align ourselves with His truth, doors begin to open, and His favor follows us. I also include prayers, declarations, and exercises to help readers apply what they’re learning to their own lives. This book is for anyone who is seeking breakthrough, clarity, and a deeper understanding of God’s provision and purpose.
Q3. What motivated and inspired you to write this book?
The inspiration for Unlocking God’s Promise came from my own experiences with faith, struggle, and victory. There were times in my life when I felt stuck, when I questioned if God’s promises were really for me or if I had missed my destiny. I’ve faced moments of uncertainty, financial hardship, and even spiritual warfare that made me doubt my calling. But through it all, God showed me that His Word is unshakable.
I started this book as a way to document my journey, but as I wrote, I realized that my story wasn’t just for me, it was for others who were walking through similar struggles. I knew there were people out there who felt lost, confused, and discouraged, wondering if God had forgotten about them. I wanted to remind them that He hasn’t! His promises are still true, and when we stand on His Word, we will see miracles happen.
Writing this book was also a personal act of obedience. God placed it on my heart to share this message, and I knew that I couldn’t keep it to myself. If even one person reads this book and experiences a breakthrough, then it was worth every moment of writing.
Q4. Any tips or advice on how one can cultivate faith?
Yes! Cultivating faith is a daily commitment. Here are a few key ways:
Spend time in God’s Word – The Bible is the foundation of faith. Romans 10:17 says, “Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.”
Develop a prayer life – Prayer connects us to God’s presence and aligns our hearts with His will.
Speak and declare God’s promises – Life and death are in the power of the tongue. Speak His Word over your life daily.
Surround yourself with faith-filled people – Being around believers who encourage and uplift you will strengthen your faith.
Take action in obedience – Faith without works is dead. Step out in obedience, even when you don’t see the full picture.
Q5. What’s next? Which book or project are you working on now?
I’m currently working on my new book, Fearless Faith: A Journey of Trust, Breakthrough, and Purpose. This book is about stepping into radical faith, overcoming fear, and trusting God completely, even when things don’t make sense. It’s for those who are ready to break free from fear, step into God’s alignment, and experience supernatural breakthroughs.
In Fearless Faith, I dive deeper into what it means to truly trust God, not just with our words, but with our actions, decisions, and daily lives. I share powerful testimonies, biblical examples, and faith-building strategies that will help readers strengthen their trust in God. This book is a call to action for believers who want to live boldly, take risks for the Kingdom, and walk in the fullness of God’s plan for their lives.
Beyond that, I’m also working on expanding my Glory Nation Academy membership program, where I mentor women in faith, purpose, and Kingdom entrepreneurship. I want to continue equipping believers with the tools they need to walk in their God-given calling.
So, there are a lot of exciting things coming up! I truly believe that this is a season of acceleration, and I’m trusting God to guide every step of the journey.
Q6. Finally, as we ask all our guests, do you have any closing thoughts that you would like to share with the world and our readers?
Yes! If there’s one thing I want to leave with your readers, it’s this: God’s promises are real, and they are for YOU. No matter where you are in life, no matter what challenges you’re facing, know that God has a plan for you that is greater than anything you can imagine.
Sometimes, life will test your faith. There will be moments when it feels like God is silent or like your prayers are unanswered. But I want to encourage you, don’t give up! Keep pressing forward, keep believing, and keep standing on God’s Word. Faith isn’t about seeing the whole picture; it’s about trusting the One who holds the picture in His hands.
Also, I want to encourage you to step out in boldness. If God has placed something on your heart, a dream, a vision, a calling, go after it with everything you have. Fear will try to stop you, but faith will propel you forward.
Lastly, I just want to say thank you. Thank you to everyone who has supported my journey, read my books, and followed my work.
