Alicia Kidman is making a name for herself as a triple-threat talent – a rising star in acting, singing, and dancing in the entertainment industry. In a recent interview, Alicia shared exclusive insights into her captivating role as Haley in the latest feature film, Cash III.
Alicia Kidman as Haley
“In Cash III, my role is Haley, a tough, hitchhiking badass whom Cash meets in the desert,” Alicia explains. “After a chance encounter, I end up getting a job at the local cafe, where I become part of the gritty, fast-paced world that Cash is navigating. My character brings a mix of drama, mystery, and a bit of unpredictability to the story, making things even more intense as Cash’s journey unfolds.”
Falling for Haley’s Fearless Energy

What captivated Alicia when she first read the script? “I immediately fell in love with Haley. She’s wild, independent, and has this raw, fearless energy that stands out. The idea of her being this carefree girl who crosses paths with Cash in the desert felt really intriguing. It’s not often you get to play a character with such a strong presence and a bit of fire within her. Plus, the dynamic between Haley and Cash seemed like it would lead to some intense, unpredictable moments, which got me excited to see how their relationship developed throughout the story.”
Drawing Inspiration from Free Spirits
Alicia shares her inspiration for embodying Haley’s unique personality: “For Haley, I drew inspiration from a mix of real-life adventurous people and classic characters who live by their own rules. In Cash II, the final scene is an homage to Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man. This is when you first get to see Haley before being left in anticipation for what’s next in Cash III. I got to play within the reference as well as bring my own ideas of a character like that, which gave me a lot of creative freedom. I was able to really tap into that free-spirited, “wildcard” energy—someone who’s been through a lot but still has a sense of resilience. I looked to figures in literature and film who embody that kind of rebellious, no-nonsense attitude, like the lone travelers or outlaws in westerns and road movies. While Haley is very much about survival, there’s an underlying vulnerability and complexity that makes her more than just the tough exterior. Behind every thick-skinned woman is hurt, and that gave me the freedom to bring her to life in a way that felt authentic to the genre and the kind of character she represents.”
